Here’s a bit about me — and how I got here
I am 25 years old, born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah, but recently moved to Tampa Florida the fall of 2023 to *spice up my life.* 🤪
I started social media during covid. . .
I got married in July 2021 after meeting Dallen only six months before on a beach in Florida (no we were not pregnant, just wanted all our family to attend & had conflicting schedules for the next year).
started posting content working at Chick-fil-A while also sharing content around college life, cheap Amazon products, small business hauls & DHGate “boujee on a budget” finds.
In February 2021 I was starting to get some bigger brands reaching out for sponsored content & was accepted into a few affiliate programs. At that point I was making more money doing social media that working the Chick-fil-A drive thru & knew I could turn it into a career if I made it my “full time job”.
I then lost my TikTok account shortly after because TikTok was not a fan of my “DHGate dupes”. I tried endlessly to get that account back with no luck (even to this day) so I rebuilt my brand all over again with no more DHGate. Started focusing my content on more Amazon finds, fashions + beauty favorites, & brought in more lifestyle content. The content I make now is so much more fulfilling and allows me to connect more with a following than just sharing a $60 dupe purse. I love what I do and love the brands that I work with.
One thing I pride myself on, especially looking back after almost 4 years on social media is never promoting a product or brand I genuinely don’t like just to make a check. I have been in the college student spot where every dime you spend is calculated. I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing a product just because a brand would pay me & having my followers spend their hard earned money because of my ad. All of my sponsored content is just as authentic & genuine as my unsponsored content.
